Progress in integrable statistical models inspired by supersymmetric gauge theories

Abstract: In this talk I will describe a connection between integrable statistical models and supersymmetric gauge theories. The investigation will be restricted to two-dimensional spin models from statistical physics side and to three-dimensional supersymmetric gauge theories from other side of the correspondence. I will present new solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation in terms of the basic hypergeometric integrals. The new solutions correspond to the partition functions of certain three-dimensional N = 2 supersymmetric gauge theories.
